Maintenance Camps

WRIC regularly organizes Maintenance Camps as part of its outreach initiative to support colleges and institutions with laboratory instrument upkeep. During these camps, technical experts from WRIC visit participating colleges to inspect, diagnose, and carry out minor repairs and servicing of electronic, analytical, and scientific instruments on-site.

The camps aim to minimize downtime, reduce the need for transporting equipment, and ensure continued functionality of laboratory setups. Institutions also benefit from on-the-spot guidance, preventive maintenance tips, and interaction with skilled engineers. This initiative has proven especially valuable for affiliated colleges of the University of Mumbai and SNDT Women’s University, promoting hands-on support and capacity building.
