Training & Education Division (TED)
The Training & Education Division (TED) leads WRIC’s capacity-building initiatives in instrumentation, electronics, and applied technology. Its programmes support faculty, students, technical staff, and industry professionals through structured training and hands-on exposure.
(i) Training programmes in the following areas:
- Introduction to analytical instruments and their operation.
- Introduction to basic electronics.
- Maintenance and operation of analytical, laboratory, and electronics instruments.
- Introduction and practical sessions on AVR microcontroller (ATmega32).
- Microcontroller and Arduino applications, IoT integrations, and Raspberry Pi platforms.
(ii) Short-term skill-oriented courses for students in compliance with NEP 2020:
- WRIC offers 2-credit and 4-credit skill-based courses for students, teachers, non-teaching staff, and industry personnel in the areas listed above.
- The courses align with the On-the-Job Training (OJT) component of NEP 2020.
- Training programmes are delivered at three levels: Beginners (UG and PG), Competent, and Advanced.
